一、申请人资格
1、申请人须为非中国籍公民，身体健康；
2、申请人已经取得北京大学2011年外国留学生研究生入学资格，且攻读学术类研究生学位；攻读专业学位、合作项目及英文授课项目等研究生不在此次申请之列；
3、申请人须为非在华学习的学生；留华毕业生毕业年限须超过一学年；
4、申请人的年龄要求：攻读硕士学位者年龄不超过35周岁；攻读博士学位者年龄不超过40周岁；
5、申请人未获得其他奖学金的资助。

二、奖学金内容和标准
 

    免交注册费、学费、实验费、实习费、基本教材费和提供免费校内住宿；

提供奖学金生活费；

提供首次来华一次性安置补助费；

提供门诊医疗服务和中国政府奖学金来华留学生综合医疗保险。

注：奖学金期限为录取时确定的学习年限，原则上不予延长。

三、申请材料
《中国政府奖学金申请表》（用中文或英文填写）
申请人须统一通过“来华留学网上报名系统”（http://laihua.csc.edu.cn）提交报名信息，并打印申请表两份。如有其他推荐材料，也可一并提交。
注：北京大学的机构代码为10001。

四、申请时间和地点
时间：2011年3月28日——2011年4月22日
地点：北京大学勺园3号楼109房间留学生办公室。

Criteria and Eligibility:
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens of sound health；
      Already accepted as a foreign graduate student at Peking University; not currently studying at an institute of higher education in China;
  For prospective masters students, age must not exceed 35; for prospective doctoral students, age must not exceed 40;
  Must have not received any other scholarship funds;
  Must not be seeking a professional degree, admission to a Chinese-foreign jointly-run international program or a program taught in English (students enrolled or intending to enroll in these programs are not eligible to apply for this scholarship).

Value of the Scholarship:
 

Exempt from registration fees, tuition, lab fees, internship fees, basic educational materials fees and campus residence fees (for housing in a dorm);

A scholarship living stipend is provided;

A one-time resettlement subsidy is provided;

Medical care and Chinese Government Scholarship Health Insurance for Foreign Students is provided.
