General requirements for PKU international scholars applying for Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) credit card: The applicants need to be above 25 years old and will stay in China for at least another two years.

Credit card options: Ten currencies (including RMB), applicable both domestically and internationally, with options of UnionPay+Visa or UnionPay+Master. Free annual fees for 5 purchases per year.

Repayment: The credit card can be linked to a salary card for automatic repayment.

3 Foreigner's Permanent Residence Permit (if any)

4. Annual salary statement (related to credit limit; it will not affect card issuance if not provided)

Application procedure:

Please go to ICBC PKU Branch to fill out the credit card form (in Chinese). It is recommended that you have a Chinese-speaking colleague or friend accompany you through the process. It might take about a month for the ICBC Credit Card Center to review your card application.
