PKUSSI Course:Modern Chinese Fiction through Film
Dr. MA Naiqiang is an Assistant Professor from the Department of English at Peking University. He received his BA and MA in English Linguistics and Literature from the School of Foreign Languages at Peking University, and he holds a PhD in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics from the School of Chinese as a Second Language also at Peking University. Dr. MA visited the Pacific Lutheran University in the United States of America as a Fulbright scholar and also visited the University of Canterbury in New Zealand as a summer program chaperone. Dr. MA has newly published the book “The American Short Story through Film” by Peking University Press, and previously written articles on the language and literature teaching, including, “He Tells while He Shows—A Case Study of the Adaptation of Short Story into Film,” “The Measurement of Readability for the Texts of College English Reading,” “One Country, Diverse Voices—An Overview of Australian Fiction in the 21st Century,” etc..
