With the most charming month of October in our Alma Mater approaching , Peking University's Office of International Relations will host the Peking University's second session of the “ International Cultural Festival”, the date set for October 22nd , 2005. This will be a grand event in the history of Peking University 's cultural exchange, a brilliant exhibition of the multi-ethnic global vision; this vivid stage will be set by the international students of Peking University .

On the appointed day, we will cordially invite representatives of various Embassies, University heads, and student representatives from at home and abroad, to first hold a grand opening ceremony; and afterwards the main arena, the plaza before the Overseas Exchange Center will show each country's culture and traditions in the “World Corridor”: Peking University international students and friends from various countries, you will be representatives of your own country, using your intuition and creativity to organize your own country's booth, to drive the Cultural Festival to a climax!

Each event of the Cultural Festival, from the “World Corridor” to the assembly of the cream of literary and art students from home and abroad, none of them could be possible without your enthusiastic participation!

You are the leaders of the International Cultural Festival; you are hosts of Peking University !

And we will provide our sincere support and spare no effort in assisting the realization of your creative endeavors.

Here, you will become acquainted with friends from all over the world.

Here, your national flag will proudly wave in the boundless October sky at Peking University
