Once you have been made an offer, you will be provided with instructions about how to pay your tuition fee.

To mark the 15th anniversary of the LSE-PKU Summer Schoolin 2018we are delighted to offer a15% 'Early Bird' discount for all fully completed applications received by 31thMarch 2018.

Professional participants who are no longer in full-timeeducation but who are alumni of LSE or PKU (including alumni ofthe LSE-PKU Summer Schoolor the LSE-UCT July School), are also able to take advantage of the early bird professional standard rate, regardless of when they apply.

Any applicant or registered student who wishes to change their course should submit their request by e-mail topkulse@pku.edu.cn.Requests can only be considered subject to availability andshould besubmitted by31st May 2018.

Cancellation Period

As participants entera contract withthe LSE-PKU Summer Schoolby means of distance communication, it is possible to terminate the contract and withdraw from the programme within 14 calendar days from the date on which the offer of a place is accepted.Please note that any request to withdraw must be provided in writing topkulse@pku.edu.cn. We will issuethe refund of relevant tuition feeswithin ninety (90) calendar days of such a cancellation.  

Refund Policy

We operate the following policyfor refunds after the Cancellation Period:

1. In order to withdraw from the programme,applicants must inform the LSE-PKU Summer School Office in writing by sending an email topkulse@pku.edu.cnand receive written acknowledgement of their withdrawal.

2. Tuition fees will then be refundedin accordance with the terms set outbelow. The application fee is non-refundable.

Please also note:

• All refunds are made in Chinese currency (RMB). The LSE-PKU Summer School cannot refund any shortfalls due to exchange rate fluctuations, or offer compensation for any bank or other charges incurred.

• Refundswill be made onto the credit/debit card usedto make the payment.

• The application fee is non-refundable, and no refunds can be issued against any additional costs incurred for travel, accommodation, or changes in exchange rates, etc.

In the event that an LSE-PKU Summer School course is cancelled, participants registered for that course will be offered a place on an alternative course within the 2018 LSE-PKU Summer School, or a full refund of their tuition fees. Registered participants will be informed as early as possible if a course is at risk of cancellation, and by 31 May 2018 at the latest.
