1. With sunlight passing through colorful foliage, autumn approaches. On October 22nd, Peking University International Faculty Club (PKU IFC) specially invited foreign faculty members and foreign affairs secretaries from China Foreign Affairs University and Minzu University of China to the campus, pacing around Wei Ming Lake and enjoying the fantastic scenery of Yan Yuan.

2. The exhibition themed “Let the ideal be passed on from generation to generation, and let the mission be carried on from the past to the future” was on display in the library. International faculty members listened to the stories and learned the lively spiritual appeal of PKUers throughout history.

3. Walking into the Branch Library,all visitors enjoyed “Eastern Wisdom——Special exhibition for Sino-Saudi Arabia Calligraphy Culture Exchange”. Not only impressed by the vivid color and Arabesque design of the rooms, but also the volumes of Arabian books and Chinese antiquarian books had left a deep impression on the visitors. The co-existence between elegant Arabic traditional calligraphy and magnificent Chinese calligraphy was highly thought of by the visitors.

4. Strolling around the campus with the picturesque views, everyone was immensely attracted by the unfolding magnificent prospect of PKU Campus. Faculty members visited a series of campus historical sites includingthe statue of Li Dazhao, the statue of Cai Yuanpei, the South and North Pavilions, Wei Ming lake, Boya Pogoda, Mid-lake Island, Tomb of Edgar Snow and so on. Companied by elegant herons and cute frisky kitties along the way, faculties appreciated Yan Yuan’s special scenery and learned about the history and stories behind the stones and bricks, as well as enjoyed the charming autumn in the garden. Behind the quaint and quietPackard Apartment, Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research came into view. Lively chats and laughter fully reflects everyone's delights throughout this autumn recursion.
5. The jolly time together in Yan Yuan always feels so fleeting. Faculty members extended their love for the campus, expressing their thoughts about the harmonious blend of history, culture and nature, in the ancient and charming garden of Peking University. The tour of Yan Yuan came to a successful end.
