Course: Chinese Perspectives on International and Global Affairs
Chen Changwei is Associate Professor of Diplomacy and Foreign Policy at the School of International Studies, Peking University. He holds doctoral degrees from Peking University and the University of Sydney. His research interests include the diplomatic history of China, the United States and Australia, with a specific focus on the U.S.-Taiwan relationship, America’s alliance system and Australian policy towards Asia. He has contributed to numerous publications, including, Historical Research (《历史研究》), The Chinese Journal of American Studies (《美国研究》), The Journal of International Studies (《国际政治研究》), Journal of Chinese Communist Party (《中共党史研究》), Journal of Imperial and Commonwealth History, Australian Journal of Politics and History. He has lectured and held visiting fellowships at various academic and research institutions in Australia, Hungary, Japan, Korea, Italy, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States.
