On October 24, 2016, Professor Yoshihisa Baba, President of Soka University, led a delegation to visit Peking University (PKU). Li Yansong, Vice President of PKU; Zheng Ruqing, Deputy Director of the Office the International Relations (OIR) of PKU; and Ding Ye, Officer in the OIR warmly received the guests at Linhuxuan.
Professor Yoshihisa first expressed his gratitude for PKU’s help in celebrating the 10th anniversary of Soka University’s Beijing office’s establishment. PKU had co-organized the “Talk To Nature” photographic exhibition and the speech event with Soka University and Soka Gakkai International (SGI) in September this year. Vice President Li said that many Chinese students, including students from PKU, chose to study at Soka University, which provided them extensive academic resources. In the end, Professor Soka and President Li agreed that the two universities should continue their cooperation and communication in academic and exchange of visitors in the future.
