On October 25, 2015, See the Future: Science & Technology Experience Day attracted many people at the Guanghua Square. The activity was held by Xtecher and International Contest of Innovation and was also in conjunction with the Peking University(PKU) International Cultural Festival & Global Youth Innovation Festival. At the experience zone, the teams of 29 technology companies around the world showed their inspiration and passion in the process of exploring science and technology.
Gevek, an app using Virtual Reality technology (VR), offered wearable devices for visitors to experience movies and games in an immersed environment by phones. VR was also employed by House VR for indoor designs. You could wear an Oculus Helmet and then appreciate various indoor designs, which facilitates the promotion of creative indoor designs.
Kether Electronics Technology Ltd. let users control toy cars just by mind. Users could wear the devices on their heads and then try to be as focused as possible to drive or stop the toy car on the track. Moreover, EHANG provided an app that could control unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which had won international reputation as a pioneer in this area.
There was also a technology team that innovated wearable devices to capture the motion of moving bodies and then set the motions into visual images on television. Noitom Technology Ltd. was founded in 2010 by a group of engineers, who have developed the capture technology in integration of MEMS sensors, pattern recognition, human kinetics and wireless transmission. The technology could be broadly used in areas such as Sports training, VFX, Medical diagnoses and rehabilitation, ect.
Besides, there were also many splendid technology products that showed visitors the prospect of science and technology in our daily life. Portable Oxygen of OSAVER was a provider of oxygen in the shape of a cup, carried by people suffering trachitis in case of emergency. Smart brushing of OraCleen, the robots of CARROBOT, the wireless charging products of Invispower and other wonderful technology products also ignited the imagination of the future life in people’s mind.
The technology experience zone really offered a feast of eyes for visitors. See the Future: Science & Technology Experience Day held by Xtecher has been successfully held in Beijing and Qingdao before, and the activity in PKU is the forth technology experience exhibition.
