Minister Rajeshwan Jeetah spoke highly of the outstanding accomplishments and expressed a strong interest in international programs of exchange students and professors.  He noted that students in Mauritius received their education in English which is not only the official language of the nation, but also an international language.  Under this circumstance, it is relatively easy for them to continue academic study worldwide and adapt to the studying life in PKU.

After deeper discussion about culture and education between both sides, a consensus was reached that more opportunities of cooperation would be created for students ranging from undergraduates, graduates to PhDs aiming at more interaction and a better understanding of cultures between two countries.
