Peking University international cultural festival has been successfully held for ten years until 2014, and now we are entering a new phase.
In the past decade, our appreciation of the spring and autumn, our passion of the Olympic Games and our devotion to public service have all witnessed our development. In the new decade, we expect “new start, new dream and new world”, and want to build our own international festival.
This year, everything is “new”. New start represents here and innovation; new dream represents there and passion; new world represents the ferry from here to there and the vast ocean comprising infinitive creations and colorful dreams. Creations and innovations involve not only genius, but you and me. Because they can only be enriched by the aspiration, passion and experience of everyone.
As we are entering the new phase, we will try to take a new start, carry a new dream and embrace a new word. For the 11th Peking University international cultural festival, we expect your innovations.
PKU Idol Singing Contest for International Students
Beautiful voices of the world converge on this stage each year. Here, you will find fast songs that will get your heart pumping as well as slow songs that will reach down to your very heart. International students, the PKU Idol stage awaits you.
On this stage, original songs are highly encouraged. You may participate individually or in a group. On 25 Sep, the first round of the competition will be held at the Centennial Memorial Hall. After a 7-minutes performance by each contestant, 10 of them will enter the finals and vie for the top prize. Will you be the one to lift the crown?

For the past 10 years, the International Culture Festival has provided countless international students a stage to showcase their homeland and their individual talents. This year, on the same stage, we will witness new faces, new beginnings and a whole new level of excitement!
