On May 22th, Prof. Andrew Deeks, President of University College Dublin (UCD), led a delegation composed by ten Vice Presidents and visited Peking University to hold the UCD Day at Peking University.

Prof. Gao Song, Vice President of Peking University, received the delegation at Linhuxuan, accompanied by Prof. Dong Zhiyong, Director of the Office of Educational Administration, Dr. Zhou Hui, Director of the Office of Sciences and Researches, and Prof. Zhang Dongxiao, Dean of the College of Engineering.

Both sides introduced the general situations of the universities. Prof. Gao Song welcomed the whole delegation and paid high expectation of the further collaborations between the two universities. Prof. Deeks appreciated the collaborations between PKU and UCD thanks to the Erasmus Modules Programs.

Later, professors from both sides in fields such as Engineering, Management, Medicine, Linguistics and law discussed intensively to find further cooperation possibilities. The parallel meetings do not only include academic collaborations but also administrative management cooperation such as financial management and educational administration.
