On the afternoon of May 5th, Prof. Wang Enge, President of Peking University, met with Prof. Yeon-Cheon Oh, President of Seoul National University at Linhuxuan. Both parties exchanged views on talent cultivation and the project of Yenching Academy.
Prof. Wang first extended warm welcome for the arrival of Prof. Yeon-Cheon Oh, and his gratitude for Prof. Yeon-Cheon Oh’s support of the International Forum on the Nourishment of Innovative Talents and the launching ceremony of Yenching Academy.
Prof. Yeon-Cheon Oh said that the experience of attending the forum made him feel that talent cultivation was highly valued here and PKU was determined to roll out cooperation with universities around the world. What’s more, Prof. Yeon-Cheon Oh talked about the latest development of Seoul National University and he expected to make joint efforts, together with PKU, to cultivate more talents for the East Asian region.
