Prof. Nagao, Vice president of Meiji University visited Peking University on December 9th, 2013. Dr. Li Yansong, Vice President of Peking University, met the guests at Lin Hu Xuan.
Dr. Li first warmly welcomed the guests. He mentioned that the two universities have been maintaining sound cooperative relations. And the close communication in the animation field left a deep impression to Vice President Li. He put forward the idea of organizing an anime contest in order to increase communications, encourage creations and cultivate inspirations.
Prof. Nagao agreed with what Dr. Li proposed. He expressed his willingness to have scholars from Peking Universities to visit the new campus of Meiji University. Meanwhile, Prof. Nagao also approved of the interflow in Kendo and table tennis, showing his interests in extending the collaboration to more fields. Prof. Nagao said that the anime lecture held by the PKU School of Foreign Languages in Dec. 8th was an incredible platform for students and teachers exchanging ideas. Furthermore, Prof. Nagao invited Peking University to a cooperation program in which universities from China, Japan, Korea and America can work together to develop the internationalization of animation.

After the meeting, Prof. Nagao proceeded to visit the School of Government and signed an agreement with the school.
