The Peking University Foreign Expert Delegation, including 40 persons, attended the Reception of 60th Anniversary of National Day on Sep. 27.
 

Decorated with flowers, lanterns and streamers, the Great Hall of the People was filled with the cheerful holiday atmosphere. Some 1,800 foreign experts and Chinese officials attended the reception. Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang attended the reception and delivered a speech. On behalf of the Chinese Government, President Hu Jintao and Premier Wen Jiabao. Li thanked all foreign experts for their contribution to the country's social and economic development. He also extended his greetings to all foreign experts, international friends and their relatives working in China.
 

"The Chinese government will further deepen the reform and opening up......widely attract and gather international personnel, and conduct international exchanges and cooperation in an ever-broader scope, in a wider range of fields and at higher levels than before," said Li.
