More than 10 women foreign experts from Peking University witg some 1,500 people gathered at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Tuesday to celebrate the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day.
Addressing the reception, Madam Chen Zhili, president of the All-China Women's Federation, send her best wishes to guests from home and abroad present at this reception. She said while gradually winning self-emancipation, women of the world have made outstanding contributions and pergormed immortal feats to national independence and prosperity, to social reform and progress, and to world peace and development.
Some 1,500 women foreign experts, women diplomatists and Chinese women officials attended the reception. Madam Song Xiuyan, vice-president of the All-China Women's Federation preside the reception.
