The drama traced the growth and death of Confucius and praised his unparalleled attainments in philosophy and education. It was consisted of five acts, namely "Birth", "Scholarship", "Distresses", "Deathbed" and "Hierophany". In the first act, a red string which symbolized the umbilical cord crossed the center of the stage so as to herald the auspicious birth of Confucius. To convey the subtle aspects precisely in each scene, the dancers combined the traditional Korean dancing skill with the modern style.
Exquisite dancing and superb cast made this drama a feast to the audience’ eyes. The performance made a good start of the series of exchange performances between SKKU and PKU.
