On October 30th, Leslie Lamport, academician in the National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Engineering, chief researcher in Microsoft, 2013 Turing award winner, and famous computer scientist, visited Peking University. He gave an academic report to nearly two hundred students from different departments at PKU. The report was entitled “Programming Should Be More Than Coding”.
